Scholarships 2009 2010, south Korea

The Graduate School of International Studies provides scholarships to both domestic and foreign students every semester. The types of scholarships vary from those provided by the government, private foundations, and of course the university. Scholarship plans of the GSIS aim to attract outstanding students from home and abroad while providing appropriate financial support to students in need.

Scholarships are awarded only to full-time degree seeking students (taking at least 9 credits) at the GSIS. Returning students who are eligible to apply for Financial Aid can submit the applications before they apply for reinstatement.

Students usually cannot receive more than one type of scholarship at a time per semester. Other conditions are subject to scholarship regulations of the GSIS.

Study at the GSIS has been approved by the United States Veterans Administration for Veterans Benefits. Yonsei University no longer participates in the U.S. FFEL/Stafford/GGL program, so U.S. citizens are no longer eligible for student loans through those programs.
