Twenty full-time research studentships

Tuition fees and stipend of £15,000 p.a.
Westminster is internationally recognised for its research in a wide
range of subject areas. We focus on excellence in research that
makes a difference - benefiting academia, industry and professional
practice.
The University now seeks to build on its success through a programme
of fully-funded research studentships commencing in October 2009.
These are available to suitably qualified and motivated applicants
for project areas within the following broad subject categories:
Art and Design
Media and Communication
Psychology
Politics and International Relations
Business and Management
English Literature
Life, Health and Environmental Sciences
Law
Computing and Informatics
Architecture, Built Environment, Planning and Tourism
Successful candidates will be expected to undertake up to six hours
per week assisting with teaching or other academic duties, in
addition to their PhD studies. The University will provide support
to undertake these duties including attendance at education courses
within the University that can lead to additional qualifications.
Applicants should hold, or expect to be awarded, a 2.1 Honours
degree or above and preferably a Masters degree. They should also,
where relevant, demonstrate English Language competence of at least
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
