The Munich Graduate School of Economics (MGSE) offers a distinguished three-year Ph.D. program in Economics to outstanding young graduates. We offer:
10 DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The program provides advanced training for in-depth research into global market integration, its consequences for institutional change, and its impact on the role of governments in the organization of economic activity. These themes are widely conceived and allow for applications in any field of economics. We offer a wide range of Ph.D. courses, all taught in English. The German Research Foundation (DFG) supports excellent doctoral students with a three-year scholarship in our Research Training Group.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applications for doctoral scholarships are welcome from graduates who hold a Master’s degree or a German university Diploma in economics or a closely related field, passed with distinction. Candidates with a degree in statistics, mathematics or physics are also encouraged to apply. Graduates need to prove a strong quantitative background as well as interest and ability to conduct independent research.

Position As Doctoral Research Fellowship (Stipendiat) at Department of Mathematics, Mechanics Division
The position pertains to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Oslo, Department of Mathematics, Mechanics Division.
The position is connected with the Multiphase Flow Assurance Centre (FACE), with the objective to deliver world class applied and fundamental research and education focused on production, transportation and separation of complex well fluids.
The PhD project concerns detailed velocity/turbulence measurements of particles in single-phase and stratified two-phase flow. Applicants should have background in applied mathematics and fluid mechanics, and it is an advantage with background in experimental methods in fluid mechanics.

Requirement
The successful candidate must have a university education corresponding to a master degree. Admission to the doctoral programme is a prerequisite for employment as research fellow. Final plan for research training shall be approved no later than 3-three months after employment.
